- Abbott Systems, makers of CanOpener, today announced FindAll, a powerful find
- utility for System 7. FindAll searches any Mac and instantly lists ALL found
- files in ONE window. The user can then:
-
- >Browse or print the list to audit the contents of any machine.
- >Launch anything, anytime from one place and eliminate time wasting searches.
- >Automatically see and remove duplicates to get more disk space.
-
- FindAll has ‘built in’ searches for applications, control panels and desk
- accessories, but users can define their own search criteria and add them to
- FindAll’s menu. For example, a user could add a menu item ‘Recent Excel Docs’
- which instantly finds and lists all Excel documents modified after a certain
- date etc.
-
- FindAll is incredibly fast (2-3 seconds to scan a 120 Meg hard drive!), very
- easy to use and is indispensable for both new and experienced Mac users.
- It’s also an essential audit tool for corporate support staff who manage
- multiple Macs. (Corporate accounts and resellers can get a FREE EVALUATION COPY
- of FindAll by sending an AppleLink to Abbott Systems at D5679)
-
- FindAll Works on all Macs and requires System 7 or later. It will ship in about
- 4 weeks and will be available through mailorder and retail outlets. Suggested
- retail price is $79 . Site license and OEM pricing is available.
